Sharon Harms is an award-winning Creative Director with over 20 years experience in advertising and graphic design. She has gained regional, national and international recognition for clients such as American Cancer Society's L'eté du Vin Wine Auction, Watkins College of Art&Design, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, The Girl Scouts, Grater's Ice Cream, Tractor Supply Company, Michelob and Twix Candy Bars.

Sharon's client experience includes such diverse areas as nonprofit organizations, consumer goods, the arts, healthcare, events, travel, entertainment, food, education, publishing, business-to-business, telecommunications, banking and utilities. She has conceptualized, designed, written and produced a wide range of materials including advertising campaigns, annual reports, corporate identities, brochures, point-of-purchase, television commercials, video productions, radio commercials and websites.

Currently an independent Graphic Designer, Sharon has most recently served as Chief Creative Officer and Partner of DH&Q/Tombras Advertising in

 

Nashville, Tennessee. She has held Vice President, Associate Creative Director positions with the Buntin Group in Nashville and Lowe & Partners, Fahlgren Martin and Griswald Advertising in Cleveland, Ohio. She has also held Associate Creative Director positions at DMB&B Advertising in St. Louis and Endres and Wilson Advertising in Nashville; and served as Senior Art Director for Crispin Porter+Bogusky in Miami. Sharon worked as adjunct instructor of graphic design for Watkin's College of Art&Design.

Sharon was named ArtDirector of the Year in 1997, 2002 and 2003 by the Nashville Advertising Federation. She has been recognized by prestigious national and international competitions for creative innovation, including Communication Arts Advertising and Design Annuals, New York One Show, British Design and Art Directors Club, National Addys, Clios, New York Art Directors Club and International Print Annual. In local and regional competitions she has taken well over 100 awards for design and creativity over the years. Her work has also been featured editorially in Communication Arts Magazine, Lurzer's International Archive, Advertising Age and Ad Week.
